What to include with your question
A picture of one leaf is rarely enough. Give the details that control the answer:
- Plant: age, cultivar, seed or clone, photoperiod or autoflower, and stage of growth
- Root zone: medium, container size, transplant date and root condition if known
- Watering: frequency, volume, pot weight or moisture cue, and whether runoff is collected
- Nutrition: exact products, mixing order, input pH and EC/PPM, and recent changes
- Environment: light and distance, day/night temperature, relative humidity and airflow
- Symptoms: where they began, how fast they moved and whether new growth looks different
- Photos: the whole plant, the affected area and the room when the layout matters
If you are sharing a meter reading, say which scale the meter uses. PPM 500, PPM 700 and EC are not interchangeable labels. The pH, EC, PPM and runoff guide explains the difference.

I am running a RDWC system and did a DWC prior. I don’t want to change my water every week like I did with the DWC. The problem Iam having is the PPM doesn’t drop
Example:
My well water = 495 PPM after conditioning the water and adding nutes my PPM was 700. One week in after another 70 mils PH down PPM 790. I am at 3 1/2 weeks, water is stable, PPM stable at 815 but they look hungry. How do I proceed?
Hey mark, a ppm at 495 is crazy high to begin with and I think that is causing issues with locking out the other nutrients. This will get worse in bloom. I would highly advise that you find some way of reducing the well ppm and a reverse osmosis system would be my immediate solution. The one I use is linked here: https://amzn.to/4eMlqu3. I’m growing in 5 gallon fabric pots how much water should i be giving my plant and how much should i feed them?
Feed at 14 lbs bring up to 16-20 lbs depending on the size of the plant (bigger means more heavy)

I am following your hydro setup and veg juice exactly as you describe. I change the bucket water and following the feeding and daily schedules but my ph with rise from 5.8 to 6.8-7.0 in a day or so. I can correct with PH down but is this considered normal? I am running about 200ppm above my tap of about 265.
Depends on what week you are. Check the roots. If it smells there’s likely root rot. If they’re white and healthy, it may be something else but if you are using general hydroponics, pH tends to go down with every feed, not up

Only had one question but as I read others, I now have a couple. 1. When DWC growing with tap water and making your veg, bloom, and top off juice; should they be pre made with distilled water or pre made with the tap? (Normal tap ppm around ~206) which leads me to my other question, is my initial tap ppm too high?
Yes it is too high, you can get away with that in Veg, but you will see issues arise in bloom. I would figure out a way to filter it.

Biobizz light but use nutrients from the beginning at 200 ppm for the first two weeks

In your hydroponics feed chart it says to get the ppm to 275 when switching to flower. How many ppm would the veg juice be + flowering ppm and do I stack them together when mixing nutrients or should I make one, then the other, then mix into fresh water? I have rigoruously wayched you series and there are some information ive noticed that made me second guess. Also this would also be before adding the mag salt I’m assuming. You could do a rez swap but if you dont see any visible issues with your plant, simply transitioning to bloom by topping off with bloom juice to replenish the ppms to targets is good enough. Eventually when the ppm reduction plateau’s, you can do a rez swap and based on the chart, you could make that ratio on the new rez. Let me know if that clarifies it for you.
Hey how ya doing right now im growing with fox farms ocean forest and im running ORGANICS ALIVE nutrients but this is my first grow and to the directions to the grow guide isnt really there and i dont understand too much of it. im growing out of a 4×4 ac infinity tent. but i would love it if you made a cheat sheet just like you did for the general hydroponics.

Bigger is always better You just have to make sure the medium is extra fluffy and you never overfeed or under feed. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it if this was your first grow, photoperiods are always the best. However, if you’re still convinced, run a 7 gallon

Most of my growing will be completed outside during spring, summer and fall months. I have some questions as it relates to growing outside (Im using a small greenhouse). I want to also clone from these plants and perhaps add in some “from seed” options as well. Wanted to get see how your membership looks for someone who will do outside instead of in door and if you can help guide through this as well.
Sorry I don’t do outdoors I’m familiar with it enough to grow but unfortunately, where I live pest and mold is the bane of successful harvests and I have resorted to strictly indoors.

You only flush if the leaves are still green when the trichomes are all milky. It’s also based on runoff. Instead of flushing, just remove all nutrients with nitrogen, calcium and sulfur and feed it that instead. Then the last two weeks, feed simply plain water.
If the plant already has yellow leaves and shows signs of senescence, there is no need to flush.
I am a new grower, in fact I’m still waiting on tent to arrive, my question is this. I am trying to download the cheat sheet you have in the how to grow video. I clicked on the download; however, all it downloaded was the page for regular seeds, it did have the tabs at the top to switch over to the auto seeds sections please help.
I really don’t recommend autos for beginners. The chart has been paywalled but it’s basically the same as the photo chart with 18 hours of light steady through the whole grow then the ppm targets need to be multiplied by .8 because autos do not require as much nutrients.
