The Best Ranges for pH, ppm & EC & How to Measure Runoff
Testing the runoff of your soil is a great way to prevent issues such as deficiencies and lockout. The best range for ppm in soil is 500-1500 ppm on the Hannah scale of an EC of 1-3. Anything above or below that will likely cause issues with your cannabis or weed plants so you want to make it a habit to test your runoff which is excess water that flows through your soil and spills out through the bottom of you pots. This information is the key to maintaining appropriate levels, especially when using synthetic nutrients.
