We kind of ran into an issue here, where i think the top half of cup got dryback and the bottom half stayed a little wet, the weight was close enough to feed, but I think we had a little pooling from compaction maybe, then again i do tend to sometimes overwater in the beginning anyways. They weren't looking too bad, but I figured I'd do something about it.
Went ahead and transferred everyone over to one-gallon pots, which they were gonna end up anyway. They actually looked a lil bit better this am, but i really just wanted them in there. We also culled Blueberry#5, we will give these girls a couple days to bounce back, then ill turn light up a lil bit more to 350-375, working my way to 400 for next week. The coco was not saturated, they were actually fed yesterday also. It was as wet as i expected. The root system really wasn't that expansive, to be holding everything in the cup together, i was actually shocked when transplanting, one big block of dirt, and just fed yesterday. Thats why the thought of compaction came to my mind. I did poke holes in them yesterday, which is probably why they perked up a bit maybe. Halos and irrigation will be routed through next weekend. Id like to get some room under each canopy to get the halos in there.
This is the final resting home. They are on 1.5in stands, on top of plywood i covered with mylar, on top of more 4 in stands., The two autos are off to the left. Blueberries are the top 4, and Blueberry Ice is the bottom 5. We will leave these girls alone for a few days, check on them tomorrow, Im expecting them to be looking a bit better. Those autos are drying back nicely, and are looking to get fed on Monday.
That's it for today. We will tidy up in the tents tomorrow, but it should be a pretty quiet day. We are almost at cruising altitude, just hitting a wee bit o' turbulence right now, but things are looking to settle out there in the next couple of days. Closing em up and let em be.
