Everything HWGrow Uses
Here is everything I use in the Grow Guide, organized and with a little description of why I use it. Some of them are optional and labeled so. Lights, tents and inline fan kits are covered in my Best Equipment Guide.

BN-Link timed outlet
A plug-in outlet timer for scheduled on/off switching. This is the BN-Link timer from my original equipment list.
Soil / nutrients
The largest section of the original sheet is grouped below into soil and containers, nutrient products, and measuring tools. Each product keeps its original link.
Soil, containers and perlite
Happy Frog Soil
My Favorite Soil, but often comes with Fungus Gnats. Each bag has enough soil for 3 5 Gallon Fabric Pots.
Fabric pots
These have predrilled holes in them if you want to LST. The fabric is thicker so they dont fall apart and they’re not more expensive than generics.
Perlite
I normally get a 5 Cubic Foot Bag, but this is enough to bottom layer 3 5 Gallon Fabric Pot with an inch (prevents overwatering).
Nutrient products and other supplies
TPS Silica
This Optional Product Improves Stem Structure and Cold Weather Resistance. 2-4 ml Per Gallon
General Hydro Trio
Lawrence Brooke made this trio specifically for Indoor Cannabis Cultivation. Fox Farms trio isn’t even for Cannabis!
pH Up and Down
Always dilute in water before mixing in. This is super concentrated and less is always more.
CaliMagic
CaliMagic is simply Cal Mag, A proper feed should have 125 ppm of this with a ratio of 4:1 of Cal:Mag
Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)
H2O2 is the greatest gardening tool of all time. Use with Tap, Germination, Clones and to kill Algae
Epsom salt
Epsom Salt is known as Magnesium Sulfate. Some strains need more Sulfur, but usually, enough is supplied in Flora Bloom.
Jobe’s All Purpose
This little magical bag has more Microbes than all the snake oil that content creator’s will sell you at a fraction of the price.
Measuring tools and bucket
20 mL syringe
I use this everyday. Until I cant push or pull anymore.
pH, PPM and temperature meter
This meter is waterproof and displays BOTH pH and ppm simultaneously (temperature too!)
Dunk Bucket
This is MVP if you want to Bottom Feed or use as a Reservoir for Drip .
Ventilation
Oscillating Fan
Must have S6 Motor or it Will last less than a Year!
Dehumidifier
The dehumidifier from my original equipment list, kept separate from the humidifier so the two are easy to find.
Humidifier
Has al the features I need.
