HWGrow Rewards — How It Works

Earn karma: qualified Helpful recognition +5; an asker’s accepted solution +10 total; a qualifying completed journal with 20 distinct posting days +20 once; a helpful contribution week +2.

• 25: feature one of your public contributions.
• 100: feature up to three and suggest one community spotlight per month.
• 300: suggest one poll per month and register interest in beta testing.
• Top Contributor: 750 karma, an account at least 90 days old, 15 different Helpful givers and 12 contribution weeks. All four are required; weeks need not be consecutive.

Spotlight and poll suggestions need team review. Beta interest does not guarantee an invitation. Vote karma is capped at 30 per day and 10 from the same giver per week. Likes, purchases and posting volume do not earn karma. Taking a break does not expire it.

Standard Exclusives use qualifying roles or eligible spending. Top Contributor Exclusives require the earned Top Contributor status and include standard access. Spending alone does not unlock the highest tier.

• Chat: a qualified reward-backed Helpful vote earns 1 point; an accepted Helpful Answer earns 2 total, not 3.
• Journals: eligible members can earn 1 point per qualifying native update day, across all journals. Current Supporter/Masterclass members and members with a verified journal credit qualify.
• Journal discussions: the journal owner can award 1 point. Five distinct eligible Helpful voters can also trigger one site-awarded point per substantive comment, subject to review.
• Chatbot feedback: an owner-accepted useful report earns 1 point; useful written feedback can earn a second. An ordinary rating alone is not a reward.

Members share five reward-backed awards per month across chat and journal discussions. Helpful recognition can continue after that allowance is used. Administrator accounts do not earn rewards.

Your share = your qualified points ÷ all qualified community points × the funded monthly pool. For example, 8 of 200 points in a $100 pool would earn $4. This is an example, not a promised payment.

Months follow the site’s calendar and timezone. Finalized balances and completion bonuses are promotional store credit with no cash value, not redeemable for cash except where required by law—not crypto or wages. Monthly estimates are not guaranteed payouts. Self-voting, duplicate accounts, reciprocal schemes and other manipulated activity do not qualify; invalid credits may be held or reversed.

Any announced vendor drawings are separate from the monthly pool. No purchase is necessary, paid membership does not improve the odds, and entering does not spend your rewards balance. Availability, eligibility and official rules apply to each campaign.
