How HWGrow Rewards Work

HWGrow Rewards are promotional store-credit value earned from qualified Helpful activity in the HWGrow community. They are not cash, cryptocurrency, wages, or an investment.

1. Monthly earning window

Each reward month follows the calendar month in HWGrow's WordPress site time: from the first day of the month through the final day of that month. Helpful activity is assigned to the month in which the vote is actually submitted. Once that calendar month closes, new votes count toward the new month.

2. What earns points

  • Qualified Helpful vote: 1 point.
  • Qualified selected Helpful Answer: 2 points.
  • Recognition/status badges do not themselves create reward value.

Anti-gaming checks can exclude suspicious activity from the monetary calculation, including self-voting, duplicate/throwaway-account patterns, reciprocal voting, connection/device clusters, quota abuse, and other manipulation signals. A social Helpful indicator can remain visible even when its monetary weight is excluded.

3. The monthly math

Your reward = your qualified points ÷ all qualified community points × that month's HWGrow reward pool.

Example: if HWGrow funds a $100 pool, you have 8 qualified points, and all eligible members together have 200 qualified points, your allocation is 8 ÷ 200 × $100 = $4.00.

Amounts are calculated in cents. When proportional shares create fractions of a cent, HWGrow uses a largest-remainder allocation so the funded monthly pool is distributed without inventing extra value.

4. Pool dates, close and finalization

The current month's number shown in My Account is an estimate because both your points and the community total can change until the month ends. A month can be finalized only after that calendar month has closed. After finalization, the credited amount is placed in each qualifying member's HWGrow Rewards balance.

Current 2026-09 pool: $100.00.

5. Using rewards at Selfie Seeds™

From My Account → Rewards, you can send available HWGrow Rewards to the Selfie Seeds™ customer email you specify. The signed HWGrow–Selfie Seeds™ bridge converts the approved amount into promotional Selfie Seeds™ store credit. The credit is then usable through the customer's Selfie Seeds™ account under the store's normal checkout rules.

Rewards cannot be withdrawn as cash. Transfers and credits can be held, rejected, or reversed when necessary to correct fraud, abuse, duplicate processing, technical errors, refunds, or other invalid activity.

6. Important deadlines

  • Helpful-vote deadline: the end of the applicable calendar month in HWGrow site time.
  • Monthly calculation: performed after the month has closed and the pool is finalized.
  • Selfie Seeds™ transfer: you may request a transfer after rewards are credited and available in your HWGrow balance.

Chatbot testing can earn Helpful points

Logged-in testers can choose Not helpful, explain what failed and suggest the correct answer. Suggestions never change the chatbot automatically. If an HWGrow administrator verifies the correction as accurate and useful, approves an answer outline and marks the feedback Helpful, the tester receives 1 qualified Helpful point for that reward month.

Anonymous visitors cannot access the chatbot. Duplicate, copied, abusive, unverifiable or protected-course-disclosing submissions do not qualify.

Current community rewards

HWGrow Helpful points still earn a share of the funded monthly pool, which can be redeemed as promotional store credit at Selfie Seeds™. Vendor-funded prizes are a separate bonus: entering a drawing never spends or reduces your Selfie Seeds™ reward balance.

Chatbot corrections count, too. If a logged-in tester chooses Not helpful, explains what was wrong and suggests the correct answer, HWGrow keeps the original response for review. When an administrator verifies the correction as accurate and useful, approves the answer outline and marks the feedback Helpful, the tester earns one qualified Helpful point.

No vendor-funded drawing is open right now. The regular HWGrow monthly Helpful-point pool and Selfie Seeds™ redemption system continue separately.

No purchase is necessary. Buying a product, joining a paid tier or spending rewards does not improve the odds of winning a vendor-funded drawing. Eligible free participation earns entries under the campaign's official rules. Vendor names identify the prize source and do not imply that a vendor sponsors every HWGrow program.
