The accumulation of salts can cause dehydration and damage to the root system, resulting in symptoms that can be observed throughout the plant. Preventing nutrient burn involves maintaining a balanced nutrient regimen, following recommended dosage guidelines, and monitoring the electrical conductivity (EC) or total dissolved solids (TDS) levels in the nutrient solution or growing medium. Regular observation of plant health and growth, along with pH monitoring, can help detect early signs of nutrient imbalances or excesses.
